Peter Holm is the mechanical professional engineer (PE) in charge and holds professional mechanical engineering licenses in California, Arizona, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Washington. A 1993 graduate of Marquette University, he has pursued engineering challenges as an employee of various companies, from start-ups through Fortune 100.
His experience is design and analysis of defense/aerospace hardware from electronics packaging at the printed wiring board (PWB) and circuit card assembly (CCA) levels, to the “black box” level, up to and including the platform/vehicle level. Areas covered have been aircraft structures, ground support structures, vehicle subsystems, payloads, experimental mods, ruggedized radios, avionics displays, military & commercial data links, cabin interiors, tooling, and fixturing. He is familiar with traditional methods of manufacture, including sheet metal, castings–sand, die, and investment–and machining as well as design of bolted, riveted, and welded joints.
